The Ashland Business Association (ABA) invites the entire Ashland community to a live holiday comedy night on Dec. 11 at 6:45 p.m. Laugh 2020 away with Corey Rodrigues & Friends. Rodrigues is a comedian, actor, radio personality, and an Ashland resident. 

The cost to attend is $10 per household; $40 per household, includes one surprise gift basket; $70 per household, includes two surprise gift baskets. Gift baskets will be delivered to your door. Corey Rodrigues was the winner of The Catch a New Rising Star, The Funniest Comic in New England and the Big Sky Comedy Festivals. He has been featured on Gotham Live, Laughs on Fox, and Laff Tracks television shows. In 2018 he released his Dry-Bar comedy special that has amassed over 40 million views worldwide. He made his national debut on the The Conan O’Brien Show in 2019, and in 2020, Rodrigues released his first half-hour Comedy Special on EPIX. Rodrigues can currently can be heard daily on Sirius XM.

The ABA wants residents to know that many of the 400+ businesses in town are ABA members and can help make holiday shopping easy. New Business in Town

Leiby’s Flower Shop is now open at 300 Eliot St, Suite 13 (behind Los Cabos, to the left). Leiby’s flower shop was previously located in Weston since 1965. The Machnik’s, who are Ashland residents, moved the shop to Ashland on Oct. 10. Leiby’s is a full-service florist, a member of Teleflora that supplies weddings and events, and plans to offer flower art and design classes once the pandemic ceases to be a threat.
