The Ashland Business Association (ABA) will hold a virtual Digital Marketing Roundtable on Tuesday, March 9, 12 to 1 p.m. Business professionals will learn how to grow their business through the power of digital marketing. Panelists will include the Ashland Ale House (Facebook), Blush Bouquets (Instagram) and the town of Ashland (Email). This event will begin with 30 minutes of presentations and then open for Q&A. ABA may attend free of charge; the cost for not-yet-members is $10. Register online at ashlandbusinessassociation.com/events.

ABA Offers Scholarships

The ABA will award two-$1,500 scholarships in June 2021. The scholarship application is open to any high school or vocational school senior residing in Ashland who is graduating in 2021 and has been accepted to an accredited school or apprenticeship program for further education. The deadline to submit a completed application, including a letter of recommendation, is midnight, Friday, April 30. For questions, contact ABA Scholarship Committee Chair Chrissy Reynolds of Annemarie’s Dance Centre, 508-881-5109, email [email protected], or visit ashlandbusinessassociation.com/page-18195.

Ashland Biz Buzz

The town’s economic development office has created the “Ashland Biz Buzz” Facebook and Instagram pages to connect local businesses with the public. “These pages are focused on getting information out to the public about the buzz with Ashland businesses,” Beth Reynolds, Economic Development Director, said. “Businesses are encouraged to post to the page when they have something to share, and we will share posts we see on businesses pages on Facebook and Instagram to maximize marketing reach. These pages will also market ‘Deals and Steals,’ our restaurant online guide, and shop local guide. ‘Like’ and ‘follow’ the pages at Facebook, @ashlandbizbuzz, and on Instagram, ashlandbizbuzz.”

Ashland “Deals and Steals”

Be sure to check out Ashland “Deals and Steals” on the town website, www.ashlandmass.com. This new tool will bring deals right into your home. Shop local by clicking links for products or get some great deals from local restaurants for your next dinner out or to go. Product sales will change every other Monday to keep you shopping, so consumers will want to check the “Deals and Steals” page every two weeks.

Ashland “Deals and Steals” is made possible by a partnership with town’s economic development office and the ABA. These groups are focused on helping businesses succeed and that Ashland is a thriving, bustling town. If you are an Ashland business with something to sell and would like to submit a “deal,” send it with an image to Beth Reynolds, [email protected].
