Members of the Ashland Innovation 4-H Club held a workday at Ashland Community Gardens at Stone Park, where they practiced teamwork and learned gardening basics. In early spring, just in time to welcome gardeners, club members removed weeds from a high raised bed and one in-ground bed and vines from the chain link fence, and swept away leaves and debris. Participating club members that day were Anish Meruva (10), Aarav Sanghavi (10), Anish Muthyala (10), Hasini Meruva (8), Siddhant Pawankar (10), and Sreemithra Ambati (8). Club leaders are Venkata Subbaiah Meruva Thirupaiahgari and Sandya Rani Meruva Thirupaiahgari. Club mentors are Ramprasad Bodicherla, Sukesh Sabbani, and Krishna Joginpalli.
