Town Clerk’s Office: Ashland Has a New Precinct

Ashland has added a new precinct after based on its population increase the 2020 Federal Census. While all Ashland registered voters still vote at the single location, the Ashland High School, precinct numbers for some may have changed. To verify your precinct before voting day, visit the Secretary of State’s website, “Where do I vote?” at sec.state.ma.us/WhereDoIVoteMA/bal/MyElectionInfo.aspx.
Dates to Remember
• Annual Town Meeting: Wednesday, May 4, 7 p.m. at the Ashland High School
• Annual Town Election: Tuesday, May 17, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ashland High School
Voter registration deadline for the Town Election and Town Meeting is Thursday, April 14. Office Hours 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. To find out if you are registered to vote, visit the Secretary of State’s website at sec.state.ma.us/VoterRegistrationSearch/MyVoterRegStatus.aspx.
The warrant articles for Town Meeting will post no later than Wednesday, April 27 on the Town Clerk’s webpage, www.ashlandmass.com/211/Town-Clerk, and in person at the following places:
• Precinct 1 – Ashland Town Hall, 101 Main St.
• Precinct 2 - Ashland Fish & Game, 3 Ponderosa Rd.
• Precinct 3 – Ashland Convenience Store/Pizza Palace, 72 Union St.
• Precinct 4 – Ashland Cable Access Corp. (WACA TV), 200 Butterfield Dr.
• Precinct 5 – Shaw’s Supermarket, 307 Pond St.
• Precinct 6 – Ashland Community Center, 162 West Union St.
