Congrats Lions Scholarship Recipients

The Ashland Lions Club awarded four $2000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors this year. Congrats to the Ashland graduates who received the awards this year!

Congrats Lions Officers for 2022-23

Ashland Lions Club held its installation of officers on June 26, 2022 at the VFW. We would like to congratulate and welcome our new club officers for the 2022-2023 Lionistic Year:

Third VP – Lion Lesley MacDonald

Special thanks to outgoing president IPP Lion Marcia Wiles for her leadership over the past year.

Lions helping out teachers at Warren School

Often school teachers have to take money out of their own pockets to cover school supplies above and beyond their annual allotment. This year the Ashland Lions provided $30 to every  teacher at the Warren School to help out with extra school supplies and unforeseen expenses. Thanks to Lion Dok for the great idea!

Community Shred-it Event

Our event was held on Saturday June 11, 2022, 9am-12pm and we had a great turn out. Thanks to our sponsors and thanks to all those who came out to participate in the event.

 Eyeglasses and Cellphone Collection

Eyeglasses and cellphone collection is a year-round project with collection of used prescription and nonprescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, hearing aids and cell phones. This year we have already collected over 1500 pairs of used eyeglasses this Lionistic year alone.
