ABA Celebrating Route 126 Businesses

The Ashland Business Association, better known as the ABA, continuously offers opportunities for business owners and the greater community to engage with one another.

Coming up this June, the ABA and their local business sponsors invite you to the 2nd Annual Celebrate Route 126 community event on Thursday, June 15th, from 5pm to 7pm, in the parking lot of Habitat for Humanity ReStore located on 310 Pond Street.

“We are looking forward to an interactive and fun event, celebrating the wide variety of wonderful Ashland businesses located on and near Route 126. A special thank you to our sponsors, Ashland Mini Storage, Minucci Auto Body, 126 Self Storage, MAZI Kitchen & Bar, Shaw’s and Star Market, Modelville Hobby, and Ashland Ale House for making this a free event for the community,” said Peter Waisgerber, the ABA Events Chair.

This fun outdoor party is a special celebration of the future of an improved Route 126/Pond Street in Ashland! There will be food, music, games, raffles, and more! If you plan to attend, please register on the ABA website, ashlandbusinessassociation.com.

Also on the horizon, the ABA will proudly award two scholarships to Ashland students who exemplify community service at the upcoming Ashland High School graduation.

Earlier this year, the ABA sponsored two events- including a Town Leader Panel Discussion at the Ashland Town Hall- “A Vision of Ashland,” to help business owners better understand development and plans for the community from local government partners. Additionally, the ABA co-sponsored a second panel discussion, “Navigating Senior Care,” at Residence of Valley Farm, creating a space for individuals and their caregivers. Early this Spring, the ABA partnered with the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce to host a joint networking event at Ashland’s Dulce D Leche with a tour of the neighboring business- Zeta Fencing, showcasing potential future Olympian fencers.

The ABA is a volunteer organization of dedicated business owners committed to help businesses flourish here in Ashland, and make a difference within the community.

“I would like to thank Attorney David Rucando, Peter Chisolm, and Bill Gath for joining the ABA Board and Sara Moussaid and Kelly Grill for volunteering on the membership and events committee, respectively. We are also excited to welcome our new Marketing Director, Ashley Place,” shared Adam Sachs, President of the ABA.
