How to prepare for annual town election, register by May 10
Ashland’s Annual Town Election will take place on May 21 between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. at Ashland High School, 65 East Union Street.
Voter registration deadlines
If you are not registered for the Annual Town Election or wish to change your political party, the deadline is Friday, May 10, 2024, at 5 p.m.
Check your voter registration status
All Massachusetts residents are encouraged to check their voter status on a regular basis. To do that, visit www.sec.state.ma.us/VoterRegistrationSearch/MyVoterRegStatus.aspx.
To register
If you are not registered to vote, you can do any of the following before May 10 at 5 p.m.:
- Register to vote in-person at the Town Clerk’s Office;
- Complete an Official Mail-in Massachusetts Voter Registration Form available at www.sec.state.ma.us/divisions/elections/languages/register-by-mail-forms.htm (forms must be postmarked by May 10, 2024; or
- Register to vote online using the Online Voter Registration System at www.sec.state.ma.us/OVR/
