Memorial Day has now officially kicked off the start of summer, we are excited for the coming months and the trips and special events the Friends of the Ashland COA have planned and are now taking reservations for.

Our new Drive on your own Dinner Theater at Lake Pearl in Wrentham has offered theater goers the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful dinner and a tribute show of their favorite performers while saving the cost of the bus. 

The 2025 schedule for Lake Pearl in Wrentham, MA includes lunch and show events featuring tribute bands and other entertainment, including the Doobie Brothers tribute on May 21st, Fleetwood Mac tribute on June 17th, and Tom Jones tribute on August 20th. Additionally, a John Denver tribute is scheduled for September 16th. The Edwards Twins are also scheduled for a lunch show on September 10, and so much more. The FOACOA is presently preparing and organizing a new fundraising monthly Dine Around program. A “dine around” fundraiser involves patrons dining at a given restaurant, where a part of their meal and soft drinks is donated back to the FOACOA.

All proceeds will be donated to the Ashland Senior Center in support of their programming and services they offer.                               

Our first Dine Around will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at the Ashland Ale House on 23 Pond Street from Noon the closing. Patrons can support our efforts with a takeout order or enjoy a casual meal inside the restaurant.

Simply mention us at check out or present the coupon to your server to have a percentage of your bill applied to the fundraising efforts. Coupons for these monthly events can be found at the Senior Center, on the Center’s web page, on various town web pages and in the monthly Senior Center newsletter.
