Parking Ban in effect

It is that time of year when street parking is affected by winter weather.  Please note that the Town of Ashland has bylaws in effect that bans parking at certain times throughout the winter season.  Here is what you need to know…
OVERNIGHT PARKING BAN
The Town of Ashland’s winter parking ban began on November 1 and ends March 31. During that time period it is unlawful for the driver of any vehicle, other than one acting in an emergency, to park any vehicle on any street for the period of time longer than one hour between the hours of 2 am - 6 am any day of the week.  Vehicles found in violation of the winter parking ban will be issued citations and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
It is important to note that the Front Street and Town Hall Municipal Parking lots prohibit overnight parking year round between 1 am to 5 am.
Lastly, please remember that plowing or pushing snow onto the public streets is not allowed and will result in a fine of $50.
